Welcome to our scuba pages. I hope you enjoy visiting. Australian scuba diving is exceptional, and Bass Point, here on the South coast of NSW at Shellharbour, has what has been reported as the best shore dives on the NSW coast, and that’s just the shore dives, boat dives can be even better.

ORGANISED DIVES. . . We have shore dives every day of the week and regular boat dives, and night dives, as well as nights out. Bass Point is only 5 minutes drive by car or boat and even further afield there is Wollongong, with its group of five islands, or further south is Kiama. Weekday or weekend boat dives to any one of 30 dive sites can round out your diving experience in the local area. email us for details. Added to this are our annual trips to overseas destinations as well as out intrastate trips

 REGULAR DIVE COURSES. . . Our dive guide and instructional staff have between them over 50 years diving experience throughout the state as well as overseas. We are a Scuba Schools International Instructor Training centre and as such can take you through all your scuba training requirements from an absolute novice all the way to instructor. Our instructional team and diving school can offer you comprehensive diving programs and diving education which ensures quality training. Our dive guides have been trained locally so they know the local area and are certified to offer you the experience and training you should expect.

DIVE EQUIPMENT. . . Our qualified staff are trained to assist you in the selection of the correct equipment for your needs. Be it the latest in technical scuba equipment or a basic snorkel set to keep to kids out of your hair for a while.

LOCAL MARINE LIFE. . . The state fish of NSW is the beautiful and friendly Eastern Blue Groper, known for its brilliant blue colouring. This fish can bee seen in abundance on every dive at Bass Point. It is also common to spy the protected Bleekers Blue Devilfish as well as the Weedy Sea Dragon on most dives.

DIVE SITES. . . We invite you to experience the magic that a Bass Point diving tour can offer. The sponge gardens teeming with all forms of underwater life. We can offer you some of the best dives available in NSW. Whether diving the Gutter, snorkeling bushrangers bay, shore or boat diving, or spearfishing – the local area has it all.

Bass Point Reserve is teeming with some spectacular temperate water marine life, not to forget our annual visitors, whales are a common sight from shore or boat during their migration months, and when the warm water currents hit there are unusual visitors more commonly found on the North Coast or even the Reef.
