Steve Gillespie and Jayne Gillespie. I wonder if the guy who took Steve scuba diving in Wollongong Harbour, way back in 1968, knew the long reaching ramifications. Steve had been spearing for years, and his dad knew he was busting to get a scuba dive so he set up a dive with some bloke he knew. 8 years later Steve became a Padi Instructor and recently celebrated 30 years as an instructor. Over the years there have been many who Steve has instilled his passion of diving. From Steve’s point of view the most famous and life changing student would have been Jayne in 1977 whom he married two years later. The other life changing student was Ron Duncan also in 77 who later we all came to know as a dive instructor
NANA SHUTE AND Richard Peters are currently on their way through their Dive Controller courses and we shall introduce them soon
